Was formerly gum powder a by-product in the recycling of various waste rubber products such as used tires. Thanks to consistent research and the optimization of technologies, the powder is now a valuable raw material that is used in numerous products and also by Sustainability and value for money.
In our fine grinding plant – one of the most modern in all of Europe – and using a technically sophisticated process, we produce so-called peeling snakes from truck tires. Rubber peeling snakes are approximately 5 cm wide black rubber strips that are formed when the tread of truck tires is cut from the carcass to prepare the tire carcass for retreading. From this pure rubber we produce rubber granules in several steps, gum powder and gum powder.
The powder is ideal for use in the most diverse rubber and elastomer products. For example, it is used to coat roofing felt as an additive to bitumen for asphalt. The addition of rubber powder makes this more durable, prevents the formation of ruts and reduces noise.
